February 12, 1883 - June 11, 1969
Mrs. Carrie Hanry, 86, of 422 W. Block St., died in a local hospital Wednesday afternoon following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Hanry resided with her nephew, Troy Crawford on West Block Street. Other survivors include one sister, Mrs. Susie Crawford, Three Creeks, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Three Creeks Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Mellinger and the Rev. J. B. Swain officiating. Burial will follow in Jolly Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. The body will remain at Bailey Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Thursday. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Adams, Fred Jones, Clarence Hanry, Joel Cottell, Elmer Wallace, and R. B. Sewell. (El Dorado Times - June 12, 1969)
