Wilburn Cleo Moody of Batesville, formerly of Pineville, the son of the Garland Crusoe and Anna Maude May Moody, was born June 12, 1927 at Hand. He died June 20, 1999 at North Arkansas Life Care Center in Horseshoe Bend. He was 72.
Mr. Moody was a retired bus driver and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his mother Anna Maude Moody of Melbourne; one brother Billy Moody of Wenatchee, Washington; four sisters, Wanda Baker of Overland Park, Kansas; Bonnie Crosby of Melbourne; Barbara Reves of Batesville; and Kathy Reeves of Wenatchee, Washington. He was preceded in death by his father Garland Moody.
Graveside services were held June 22, 1999 at Wises Chapel Cemetery near Pineville, with Reverend Mike Haney officiating. Pallbearers include Raymond Moody, Floyd Moody, Gaylon Ivie, Dale Ivie, Larry Moody, Gary Moody and Rayburn Ivie. Arrangements were under the direction of Howard Funeral Home of Melbourne.
