FRANKLIN — Earnest Harvey Moody, 74, of Franklin died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in Batesville.
Born April 25, 1939, in Brinkley, he was the son of Osie O'Neal Moody and Geneva Smart Moody. He was united in marriage to Debbie Jeffery on Jan. 14, 1993. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was an insurance salesman for Farm Bureau Insurance. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years; a daughter, Misty Nooner of Sheridan; a sister, Virginia Mooneyham of Olive Branch, Miss.; three grandchildren, Shandy Nooner, Erynn Nooner and Blayke Nooner, all of Sheridan; an uncle, Marshall Rodgers of Conway; an aunt, Marie Loux of Conway; a nephew, Mike Mooneyham of Southaven, Miss.; and three great-nephews, Michael Mooneyham, Wesley Mooneyham and Ryan Mooneyham.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandparents.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Franklin Baptist Church in Franklin with Robert Norton officiating. Burial will be in Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Harlin Hames, Mike Cone, Fred Lamb, Lowell Wheelis, Arlen Marsyla and Marcus Miller.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight.
