Homer Earl Moody of Jordan, son of Dola Moody and the late Arthur Theodore Moody, was born July 26, 1934 in Calico Rock. He died October 19, 1997 at the Medical Center of Calico Rock. He was 63.
Mr Moody was a member of the Halls Chapel. He enjoyed hunting fishing, watching birds, and building bird houses.
Survivors include his mother of Jordan: three brothers, Doyle Moody of Oklahoma and Jerry and Larry Moody both of Jordan; two sisters, Delsie Mellon of Jordan: and Faye Dockings of Dolph; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, four brothers, one sister and a nephew, Darren Mellon.
Services were held October 21, 1997 at Wise Chapel in Pineville with Brothers Dave Williamson and Mike Haney officiating.
Pallbearers were Raymond Moody, Floyd Moody, Robert Skidmore, Philip Farmer, Bob Coz, and Jerry Russell. Honorary pallbearers were Carl Moody and James Southard.
Interment was at the Cross Roads Cemetery in Pineville under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home.
