Well Known Citizen of Franklin Passes Away
William Franklin Hames, aged 70 of Franklin died at his home Friday night, January 23. He was a farmer and a lifetime resident of this county.
Survivors include five sons, Shelby and Owen of Franklin, Tom and Clyde of Violet Hill, and Pleas of Melbourne; a daughter, Mrs. Addie Gaston of Violet Hill; three brothers, Herbert of Wayne, Okla., Harrison of Violet Hill and Dalton of Mt. Pleasant; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Jacobs of Broken Arrow, Okla., Mrs. Alpha Gibson of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Edna Bonwelll of Marshall.
