Mrs. Hames of Violet Hill Passes Away
Rinda Forrest Hames was born October 4, 1883. She was the daughter of Louis and Rhoda Forrest. She spent her entire life in the Forrest Chapel Community. She was a very faithful member of the Methodist Church there.
She departed this life November 12, 1960 at the age of 77 years.
She was united in marriage to Harrison Hames on July 20, 1904. To this union were born four sons, Rex and Glen who preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her passing the companion of the home and two sons, Carl and Bill Hames both of Violet Hill; two brothers, L. A. Forrest of Violet Hill and C. O. Forrest of Melbourne and a host of relatives and friends.
Burial was in the Forrest Chapel Cemetery Monday afternoon with Deaconess Mary Chaffin of St. Paul, Ark., Rev. Hillman Byram of Huntsville, Ark., and their pastor, Rev. Graham Sellars.
Pallbearers were Leyon Hames, Howard Hames, Vol Ray Blevins, Claude Jones, Dariol Forrest and Chester Melton.
