Child Dies From Peanut in Throat
The two-year old baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hames of Violet Hill died in a Little Rock hospital Monday as a result of sucking a peanut kernel down its windpipe last Saturday. The object was said to have reached the infant’s lungs. Every conceivable medical aid was given here and at Little Rock, it was said.
