Married Nola Cliff, April 14, 1946, Izard County, Arkansas.

George Hancel Dillard 67, of Myron died Saturday morning at his home. Born at Violet Hill, he was a farmer, a member of the First Baptist Church of Franklin, a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 350 and a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nola Clifft Dillard; two brothers, Oral Dillard of Franklin and Ewell Dillard of Gallatin, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Velma Mullins of Wichita, Kansas and Mrs. Hazel Ward of Pine Bluff; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dillard was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Dillard.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Myron Community Church with the Rev. Loy Vern Mason officiating. Burial was in the Violet Hill Cemetery with arrangements by the Crouch Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Billy Barnes, Milk Dillard, Terry Mullins, Johnny Moody, Douglas Brinkley and Kendall Stroud. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Kissinger and Harry Gaston.
