Jo Lynne Whitfield was born November 13, 1942 at Springfield, Missouri the daughter of Jeff and Jorayne Martin Hackler. She married Andy Whitfield on June 30, 1963 at Mountain Home, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a housewife and a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Whitfield was the past president of Baxter County Democrat WomenÂ’s Club and an active member of the Cancer Support Group. She passed away on October 26, 2004 at her residence at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 13 days.
Survivors: her husband Andy Whitfield of Mountain Home, 2 daughters JoEllen (Ed) White of Mountain Home and Amy Lynne (Shannon) Flowers of Castle Rock, Colorado, mother, Jorayne Hackler of Mountain Home, 4 grandchildren Rebecca, Jonathan (Shannon) Lynne, and Steven.
Preceded in Death by: by her father Jeff Hackler
Visitation: From 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 28, 2004 at the Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel
Funeral: Funeral services for Jo Lynne Whitfield of Mountain Home will be Friday, October 29, 2004 at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Russell R. Moore and Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating
Burial: Baxter Memorial Gardens

A Funeral Ceremony for Phillip Andrew Whitfield, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, September 10, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Andy passed away September 8, 2012, in Mountain Home, at the age of 71. He was born February 6, 1941, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, the son of A.B. and Opal Wayland Whitfield. He married Jo Lynne Hackler on June 30, 1963, at Mountain Home, AR and owned and operated Whitfield Petroleum and Village Real Estate. Phillip lived in the Mountain Home area all of his life. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge #225. He was also member of the Twin Lakes Corvette Club and enjoyed attending local car shows in his red Corvette.
Andy is survived by his two daughters, Jo Ellen (Ed) White of Mountain Home, AR, Amy (Shannon) Flowers of Katy, TX; brother, Norris (Pat) Whitfield, of Mountain Home, AR; mother-in-law, Jorayne Hackler, of Mountain Home, AR; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Jonathan, Shannon Lynne, and Steven; and his niece, Beth (Randy) Tribble, of Mountain Home, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens with Dale Harris, Mickey Pendergrass, Ray Neuman, John Reding, Richard Wallace, and Kevin Best as active pallbearers, and Calvin Czeschin as honorary pallbearer.
