Roy Dale Cunningham of Mt. Home died Thursday at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was 55.
He was born Feb 27, 1944, at Pleasant Valley to Charles and Edna Neal Cunningham. He married Penny Feist of July 23, 1983 in Mt. Home. He made his home in Baxter County most of his life, was a professional musician and a member of the Musician's Union.
Mr. Cunningham is survived by his wife, Penny of Mt. Home; his mother, Edna Cunningham; four children, Laura Jesse and Charles Cunningham both of Mt. Home, Teresa Meyer of Rio Grande, NM and Make Wayne Nettles of New Orleans, LA; one brother, Charles Cunningham of Portland, OR; two sisters Royce Treat of Melbourne, Susie Cunningham of Mt. View; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Cunningham and a daughter Eva Lynn Cunningham.
Visitation will be noon-8PM, Dec 11, at the Baxter County Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM.
A graveside service will be 2PM, Sunday at the Galatia Cemetery with Bro Vernon McNully Officiating. Interment will be in Galatia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Cunningham, John Gipson, Ronnie Treat, Sandy Treat, Stewart Treat and Charles Treat.
Memorials may be made to CARTI of Mt. Home.
Arrangements are by the Baxter County Funeral Home.
