Born August 27, 1943, Norfork, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Died August 31, 1989, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Daughter of Walter Lonzo & Odess Emmaline Clark Cunningham.
She was previously married to Dickie D. Davis, and they were the parents of two children. She took back her maiden name following a divorce.

Visitation of Mettis Cunningham-Davis of Mt. Home will be from 9AM to -PM Saturday at Roller Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. Mrs. Cunningham-Davis died Thursday (Aug 31, 1989) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. She was 46.
Services will be at 2PM Sunday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Don Pfalser officiating. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery with Lee Sanders, Kyle Jeffery, Shayne Hamilton, Rick Cunningham, Scott Stephens and Jerry Cunningham serving as pallbeareres.
Honorary pallbearers will be Barbara Jeffery, Diane Hickman, Rita Haney, Marica Haney, Sheri Williams, Nita Elkins, Louise Rollins, Kay Blackburn, Ruby Clark Britt, Mable Greer, Wilma Wyatt and Velma Whitfield.
She is survived by one son, Derek Davis of Red Oak, TX; one daughter, Darrah Pitchford of Mt. Home; one brother, Jackie Cunningham of Gassville; five sisters, Mavis Hamilton of Tulsa, OK, Fern Ragsdale of Pawhuska, OK, Laura Morgan of Laramie, WY, Florine Rollan of Kansas City, MO and Corene Parnell of Valley Center, KS; on grandson, Kaleb Pitchford of Mt. Home; and serveral nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
An area native, Mrs. Cunningham Davis was born Aug 27, 1943 at Norfork to the late Walter and Odess Clark Cunningham. She was a financial assistance officer and a real estate broker. Mrs. Cunningham-Davis was a member of the Church of Christ.
