She married David W Gallaher in Newton Co, Missouri on 12 Sept 1878, according to their marriage record on file there. Genette was one of the elder daughters of Morgan and Matilda Green who resided in Lawrence Co, MO in 1870. After her father died, the family appears in the Van Buren Twns of Newton Co in 1880. David and Genette and son Morgan were in the household of her mother. Morgan died before 1900.
