BUTTRAM, Nancy - {from Pea Ridge} Aunt Nancy Buttram is now resting in the city of the dead. She was buried at Buttram's chapel. Most of her children and a host of friends were present at the funeral.

In 1874, Reverend Elijah Buttram opened a school at Buttram's Chapel outside of Pea Ridge, AR that eventually became the Masonic College.

BUTTRAM, E.H. - Rev. E.H. Buttram died last week at his home at Pea Ridge at the age of 83 years. He was one of the oldest ministers in the county and had lived on Pea Ridge for many years. Funeral services were held at Buttram's Chapel and were conducted by Rev. Jefferson Sherman.
