Fort Smith - Alvis Center, 88, of Winslow, died this morning in a Van Buren rest home. Born June 25, 1886, he was a retired rea1 estate salesman.
Survivors are seven sons, Bobby Joe and Ralph of Winslow, Jerry of Alma, James of Van Buren, Jack of Ashland, Ore., Gene of Medford, Ore. and Calvin of Owasso, Okla.; three daughters, Mrs. Hubert Nichols and Mrs. Robert Beaver, both of Fort Smith and Mrs. Harvey Jones of Tulsa; 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will he at 2 p.m. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Chapel with burial in Collier Cemetery at Winslow.
