Mrs. Austin Sims Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Bertha Perryman Sims, wife of Austin Sims, died at her home in Calico Rock, Wednesday morning about 11 o'clock, following a long illness.
She was 46 years of age and her entire life was spent in Izard and Fulton Counties. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Henry Perryman of Wild Cherry. She has resided in Calico Rock several years.
Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Holland Holcomb of Calico Rock; two sisters, Mrs. Garland Shelton of Calico Rock and Mrs. Allie Moser of Wild Cherry, one brother, Leslie Perryman of Melbourne and two grandchildren of Calico Rock.
Funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon, services being conducted by Mrs. Ruth Jackson and Rev. Lelon Looper. Interment was in Roselawn Cemetery at this place.
