W. A. Sims, commonly know as “Uncle Bill” died at his home near Lunenburg the latter part of last week after a short illness of pneumonia and was buried in the Reeves Cemetery Sunday.
He had been a familiar figure in and about Lunenburg for more that half a century and was a well liked citizen, one who was well thought of and he will be missed from his neighborhood.
The Times extends unfeigned sympathy to the bereaved relatives who survive him.
He is survived by his wife and several grown children and grandchildren.
Married Eliza Jane Perigen
She is also buried in this cemetery.
(The death date on the paper and the stone do not agree.)
