Leonard Dean 'Red' Cox 64 of Calico Rock died Monday, September 4, 1989 at the Calico Rock Medical Center. He spent his working years as a truck driver for Baxter County Road and Bridge Department and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Kelt and Cora Jane Cox.
Survivors include his wife, French L. Teague Cox; three sons, Jewel Dean Cox, Leonard Kelt Cox and Enoch James, Pee Wee Cox, all of Calico Rock; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Troy, L.R., Peck, and Johnny Cox all of Calico Rock.
Pallbearers were; Kevin Cox, Randel McCoy, Bryan Whitehead, Leland Cox, Frankie Marlin Cox and Bob Cox.
Services were held September 7th, at the Church of God of Prophecy near Calico Rock. Burial was at the Table Rock Cemetery at Culp, with the arrangements made by Howard Funeral Home of Melbourne.

French L Teague Cox, daughter of the late Enoch David Teague and Bessie Mae White Teague, was born April 19, 1928 in Judsonia, Arkansas. She departed this life February 20, 2016 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 1 day. She was united in marriage to Leonard Dean “ Red” Cox May 29, 1951 in Culp, Arkansas. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law: Dean Cox of Culp, Leonard Cox of Culp and E.J. “Pee Wee” and Michelle Cox of Mountain Home; seven brothers: Barton Teague of Salem, David Teague, Joe Teague of Glencoe, Luke Teague of Calico Rock, Harry Teague of Calico Rock, Thomas Teague of Calico Rock, and Johnny Teague of Calico Rock; six sisters: Amelia Davidson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Georgia Funk of Culp, Lula Belle Henderson of Oxford, Virginia Faye Wilson of Melbourne, Mary Frances Hicks of Calico Rock and Shirley Sherrell of Calico Rock; one sister-in-law: Erma Nell Teague of Calico Rock and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers: Leon Teague and Nathan Teague; two sisters: Vinetta Lester and Bonnie Teague.
Graveside funeral service will be Wednesday, February 24 at 2:30 p.m. at Table Rock Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
