Ruby Mae Cox of Calico Rock, daughter of the late Andrew William and Julie Ann Bagwell Teague was born December 2, 1923 at Culp. She died January 2, 1999 at her home. She was 75.

Mrs. Cox was united in marriage to Frank James Cox on July 7, 1940 in Culp. To this union six Children were born. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Ellen and George Acklin of Gassville, Lois Sharon and Lyle Wilson of Cold Water, and Sandra Marlene and Rick Dockins of Dolph; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lelan Arlin and Joyce Cox of Optimus and Frankie Marlin and Jalois Cox of Cold Water; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son, Sgt. James Harlin Cox, two sisters and one grandson.

Funeral services were held January 7, 1999 at Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Calico Rock, with Ray Lamb officiating.

Pallbearers were Ted Acklin, Kelt Dockins, Lelan Cox, Jr., Jim Seaman, Gary Wilkes and Kevin Cox. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Cox, Leonard Cox, Joel Dean Cox, Encoh James Cox, William Power and Charles Riley.

Interment was at Table Rock Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Home.
