Caron Rose Tilley, 40, of Mt. home died Thursday in Sullivan, MO.
She was born on Dec 31, 1956 in Kansas City, KS, where she resided before moving to Mt. Home. She married Amon Tilley on May 2, 1975 in Mt. Home. She had lived in Mt. Home for the past 28 years and was a homemaker, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and all outdoor sports.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Bette and Roger Despard of Midway; her father, Thomas D. Dawkins of Kansas City, KS; Betty (Russell) and Roger Despard of Midway and Thomas D. Hawkins of Kansas City, KS; her husband Amon Tilley of Mt. Home; sons, Ronald,James and Justin Tilley, all of Mt. Home; brothers Ronald and David Dawkins, both of Kansas City, KS; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 9AM to 9PM Sunday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. Funeral services will be held at 10AM Monday at Roller Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Newman officiating. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork. Pallbearers will be Troy Lackey, Odis Dean, Lenny Bryson, Scott Manchester, Chuck McCarney, Dean Cox and Kenny Holt. Employees of Mt. Home Street Department will serve as honoary pallbearers.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
