Died March 31, 1995, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of John & Mathilda Dewitt Lawson.
Married Gracie S. Acklin, January 10, 1929, Norfork, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Alfred C. Lawson of Mt. Home died Friday (March 31, 1995) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was 86.
Mr. Lawson was born March 2, 1909, at Iuka, AR, to John and Mathilda Dewitt Lawson. He married Gracie Acklin on Jan 10, 1929, at Norfork and was a sawmill operator. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Gracie Lawson of Mt. Home; three sons, Troy Lawson Kenneth Lawson and Lonnie Lawson, all of Mt. Home; five daughters, Virgie Barnes of Mt. Home, Juanita Bish of Salesville, Nina Haverson of Gresham, OR, Anna Mae Brett of Calico Rock and Nona Figurski of Mt. Home; 22 grandchildren; one sister Clercy Griffith of Tulsa, OK, and serveral nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be noon-8PM, with the family receiving friends 5-8PM, at Kirby Funeral Home in Mt. Home.
Services will be 11AM Monday at Galatia Chruch, with the Rev. Vern Pickrell officiating.
Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral directors in Mt. Home.
Pallbearers will be L.J. Lawson Trevor Tilley, Terry Clark, Larry Estes, Mike Baker, and Kevin Gagg. Honorary pallbearers will be Hank Tilley, Robert Lawson and Jeff Scheidegger.
