Billy Joe Wayne Caraway ,66, of Mount Pleasant died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born Thursday, December 14, 1939 in Lafferty, Arkansas the son of Homer Caraway and Myrtle (Clark) Caraway. He was a 1958 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. He and JoAnn Dover were married June 5, 1958 at Lafferty. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Caraway of the home; three sons, Kerry Caraway and his wife, Beverly, of Mount Pleasant; Kenny Caraway of Melbourne; and Kris Caraway and his wife, Hope, of Mount Pleasant; two brothers, D. B. Caraway of Mount Pleasant and J. C. Caraway of Cave City; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers are Kasey Caraway, Kohl Caraway, Kris Caraway, Hunter Caraway, Kody Caraway, Korey Caraway, Shane Tolleson, Nathan Caraway, and Blake Caraway. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Monday, May 22, 2006 at Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant officiated by Doyne Robertson and Brent Ballow. Interment will be in Finley Creek Cemetery near Zion by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne. (870) 368-4540 The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, May 21 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Mount Pleasant.
