Furbie Ann Craig Caraway, 85, of Mount Pleasant died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, in a Batesville hospital.
Born March 28, 1918, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Perry Joseph Craig and Lillie Mae Brown Craig. She was a homemaker, a farmer and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Caraway of Mount Pleasant; a sister, Sadie Pugh of Wanatchee, Wash.; two grandchildren, Phillip Helm, Chrystal Conrad; and six great-grandchildren, Ashley Helm, Kevin Helm, John Phillip Conrad, Caleb James Conrad, Dillon Helm and Skyler Renee Franks.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Frank Caraway; a brother, Adam Craig; two sisters, Lora Fleetwood and Eunice Johnson; a daughter, Glenna Helm; and a granddaughter, Jamie Sue Helm.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Pine Grove Church with Lee Cording officiating. Burial will be in Reeves Cemetery under the direction of the Roller Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Danny Conway Moser, Chris Johnson, Joe Johnson, Dale Smith, Carl Burleson and Blake Johnson.
