IMBODEN - Funeral services for Wilma Jane Penn, 83, of Imboden, who died Tuesday, May 28, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Imboden Church of Christ, with Art Smith and Steve Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
Pallbearers will be Ricky D. Barker, Rodney Dail Barker, Chris Jones, Jeremy Jones, Chris Golden and J.J. Kesterson.
Born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., she had lived in Newport, Portia and Black Rock before moving to Imboden. She was a homemaker, a retired secretary for Black Rock Schools and was a member of the Lawrence County China Painters Club, the Altrusa Club and the Imboden Church of Christ.
Survivors include four daughters, JoAnn Barker of Jonesboro, Patsy Jones of Imboden, Donna Golden of Smyrna, Tenn., and Debbie Kesterson of Little Rock; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Penn, a sister and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Paragould Children's Home.
