Theo’s name appears as Theodore Alvin Penn on his WWI draft registration which was certified by his cousin, Mr. Robert E. Penn. However, his given names were presented as Theodore Austin (Theo) in John and Maxine Fortenberry (1997), “The Fortenberry Family In Arkansas,” and his gravestone is inscribed as Theadore A. Penn.
