BENTONVILLE
Victoria Frye Ward, 86, of Bentonville died Thursday. She was born Sept. 16, 1916, at McCrady, Va., to Stuart Hutton Frye and Ella Mae Henry.
She was a member of the Retired Nursing Association, the Gideons and the First Church of the Nazarene of Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther H. Ward; one daughter, Linda E. Ward; three brothers, Carl and Lenuel Frye and Doyle Luttrell; and a sister, Ruth.
Survivors include two sons, David Lavern Ward of Bentonville and Lyle Hobert Ward of Damascus, Md.; two sisters, Martha Beck of Urbana, Ill., and Goldie Ziegler of Princeton, Texas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Church of the Nazarene at Rogers with the Rev. Fred E. Agee and the Rev. Alan E. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Dug Hill Cemetery at Bella Vista.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel at Bentonville, with the family present from 5 p.m.
