Funeral services for Mrs. Gearldine Hanson Taylor, age 77, will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the First United Pentecostal Church, Haynesville, LA where she was a faithful member, with Rev. Gary Taylor, Rev. T. R. Kelly and Rev. Dale Welch officiating. Interment will follow in Jolley Cemetery, Junction City, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville, LA.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Taylor was born on September 13, 1937 to Allen Dorsey and Myrtle DeLoach Hanson in Junction City, AR and passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Haynesville, LA. She was a lifelong resident of this area and was a homemaker. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved hunting, fishing, shopping and riding her four-wheeler with her husband.
She is survived by four sons, Gary A. Taylor and wife, Susan of Haynesville, LA, Stephen F. Taylor and wife, Jodi, Billy Wayne Taylor and wife, Nancy, and Charles D. Taylor and wife, Janita, all of Emerson, AR; ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, John W. Hanson and wife, Maxine of Springhill, LA, and Maurice Hanson of Lumberton, TX.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by husband, Billy Floyd Taylor on March 6, 2011; her parents; sisters, Letha Hanson, Meverlene Hubbard and Marie Hogue; brother, Grady Hanson.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Vickers, Weston Taylor, Scott Fletcher, Neal Taylor, Dean Lento, Jason Smith and Todd Taylor.
