Luzelle P. Brown, 81, of Van Buren died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was retired from the General Electric-Trane Manufacturing Plant in Fort Smith, a charter member of AFL-CIO Union of Fort Smith, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of First Baptist Church in Van Buren.
Funeral will be noon Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Smith of Tulsa and Bertha Storment and her husband, James of Alma; two brothers, Tommy Pitchford and wife, Pauline of Mansfield and Paul Pitchford of Paris; a granddaughter, Libby Smith; and a grandson, Chris Storment and wife, Bernadette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bose Brown Jr.
