SERVICE FRIDAY FOR MRS. TURNER
Bentonville, Aug. 19 - Funeral services for Mrs. Martha M. Hughes Turner, who died Sunday night at Pecos, Tex., from injuries received in an automobile accident near Pecos Saturday night, will be held at the Callison-McKinney Funeral home in Bentonville Friday afternoon at 2:30 and the burial will be in the Barron cemetery, near Vaughn.
Mrs. Turner was born in Bradley county, Tenn., May 1, 1867, and came to Benton county in childhood. She was married at her home on Osage Dec. 24, 1890, to the late Theodore Turner, of Vaughn, who died March, 20, 1930. In addition to her two Sons, Dr. Fred A. Turner of Hartshorne, Okla., and John Turner of Tulsa, and her three daughters, Mrs. Chas. A. Henderson of Bentonville, Mrs. Garland Douglas of Ketchum, Okla., and Miss Ruth Turner of Vaughn, she is survived by 3 brothers, Dr. G.A. Hughes of Siloam Springs, Albert Hughes, of Bixby, Okla., and Lester Hughes of Seminole, Okla.; by a sister, Mrs. L.L. Lewis of Muskogee, Okla., and by 7 grandchildren. She was a member of the Vaughn Presbyterian church.
