Miss Era Anice Turner, 79, of the Vaughn Community, died this morning at Bates Memorial Hospital. She was born Nov. 15, 1895 in The Vaughn Community. Most of her life was spent in Oklahoma City, Okla., where she was a registered nurse. She retired and returned to the Vaughn Community in 1969. She was a member of the Vaughn Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by one nephew, Charles Turner of Bentonville.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Callison-McKinney Funeral Chapel in Bentonville with Rev. Murray Rich and Rev. Jack Vinson officiating. Burial will be in the Barron Cemetery.
