FAYETTEVILLE — Josephine Susan Burson, 87, of Fayetteville died Nov. 20, 1995, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Feb. 15, 1908, at War Eagle to Daniel Eli and Maude Elizabeth Gosvener Davis. She was a retired secretary and had been active in the American Association of Retired Persons. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Burson, in 1975, and one son, George Edward Burson, in 1942.
Survivors include four brothers, Murl Davis of Wichita, Kan., Earl Davis of Hindsville, Elwood Davis of Gentry and Gene Davis of Mitchell, Neb.; one sister, Madge Whittemore of Huntsville.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville with the Rev. Earl Dean Morris and the Rev. Johnny Sisemore officiating. Burial will be in Sons Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Whittemore, Danny Whittemore, Don Evans, Eddie Balluck, John Davis and Billie Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will he Randy Balluck, Lundy Davis, Ronald Davis, Larry Davis and Gary Brown.
