William Henry Burson, 86, a resident of the Habberton Community died in a Springdale nursing home Sunday morning. He was born in Washington County Apr. 16, 1877 the son of George and Naomi Benson Burson. He was married to the former Lucy Ellen Stuart Dec. 28, 1909. Survivors include the widow of the home; four sons, Claud, Roy, Gene all of Fayetteville and Kermit of Habberton; three daughters, Mrs. Euel Oxford of Habberton, Mrs. Roy Nixon and Mrs. Bill Turrentine both of Springdale; one brother Julius of Fayetteville; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Watson Mortuary. Burial in Son's Chapel Cemetery.
