Carroll Doss Carter, 62, of Fort Smith, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015.
He was born February 18, 1953 in Altus, AR.
He was an Electrician for IBEW Local 700 and an instructor for Fort Smith Electrical JATC. He was a member of IBEW Local 700, Wesley United Methodist Church and he loved history. He was a Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Wayne Carter and Margaret Ann (Doss) Carter and a brother, James Allen Carter.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery with Military Honors under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Dee; stepson, Gerald Damron and wife Fawn of Barling; one brother, Burl Carter and wife Debbie of Fort Smith and one granddaughter, Natalie Damron.
Pallbearers will be Mario Rupert, Zakary Mealer, Art Cooper, Gerald Damron, Tom Howell and Nathan Allen. Honorary pallbearer will be Wayne Allen.
