SPRINGDALE - Joseph Henry King, age 74, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, at Innisfree Nursing and Rehab in Rogers. He was born Dec. 24, 1944, in Wichita, Kan., to Edward and Sara (Simpson) King.
He was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
Joseph worked for George's Inc, for 45 years. He was a maintenance man and a jack of all trades. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was loved by many.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Bonnie (Laird) King; son Billy J. King and wife Angela; daughters Bonnie Ann Mix and husband J.D., Mary Main, and Kathy Seals; sister Sara Talley; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow immediately on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Interment to follow at Thornsberry in Toniitown. To place an online tribute, visit www.nelsonberna.com.

SPRINGDALE — Bonnie Kay King, age 73, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Northwest
Medical Center in Springdale. She was born on April 24, 1948, in Wesley, Ark., to James Clarence and Dicie (Powell) Laird.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Joseph King; three sisters, Joy Bowen, Betty White and Cleta (Kate May) Tracy; and four brothers, Coy Laird, Ernest Laird, Paul Laird, and Leon Laird.
Bonnie was a collector by hobby. She had a home full of precious items that she enjoyed. She had a love for keeping a clean home, visiting flea markets and yard sales, sitting out and watching the deer, and sightseeing while taking drives. Most of all, she adored time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Billy Joe King and wife Angela of Springdale, Bonnie Ann Mix and husband J.D. of Rogers, Mary Main of Springdale, and Kathy Seals of Granby, Mo.; two brothers, Lonnie Laird and Gerald Laird; sister, Ethel Hutchison; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday June 15, 2021, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Thornsberry Cemetery in Springdale.
