Grandma King died Sunday evening at 8 o'clock at the home of her son, David King, a short distance south of Springdale. Deceased had been in ill health for some time but was able to sit up and died while seated in her rocking chair. Funeral services were held at the residence Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Herrington, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, and the remains were interred in Bluff Cemetery. Deceased was 88 years of age and came to Springdale with her husband some ten years ago from Aurora, Ill. The latter was finely educated and was a Presbyterian minister. He died about eight years ago. David King, with whom Mrs. King made her home, was the only living child.
