Leonard R. Jones, 85, of Van Buren died Sunday, November 10, 2002 in a local hospital.
He was a deacon and member of the First Baptist Church in Van Buren, a member of Burton Masonic Lodge No. 30 in Muldrow and a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a retired manager of DeSoto Furniture Co.
He was survived by his wife, Rue; a daughter, Euvonnie Jean Lankford of Van Buren; a son, Lindsey Faye Jones of Van Buren; a brother, Sequoyah Ross Jones of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church in Van Buren with burial and Masonic graveside service at Gracelawn Cemetery.
