Ernest Jones, 91, of Alma, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at a local nursing
home. He was a retired truck driver for Larry Breeden Trucking. He served in the
Army during World War II and was a member of Dyer Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Kay Mitchell; a son, Gene Jones; and twins Carol and Carolyn.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha of the home; three daughters, Joyce Ann Wright of Cameron, Okla.; Betty Krajewsi of Van Buren and Linda Sue Windham of Little Rock; three sons, Kenny Jones of Kibler, Gerald Jones of Dyer and Robert Jones; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Travis Boyd, Tim Jones, Chad Wyninger, Kenny Jones, Mark Medlock, Jerald Medlock and Stephen Roberts.

Honorary pallbearers were his granddaughters, Sherry Wyinger, Twanette Adkins,Suzette Schenk, Sheila Beadles, Heather Threet, Vickie Roberts, Jennifer Monroe,
Cindy Roberts, Denise Lee, Nancy Proctor, Chastity Hartford and Heather Wise.

Ms. Martha Jones of Alma, Arkansas, died Thursday, January 8, 2009 in Alma. Ms. Jones was 88 years, 9 months, and 9 days old. She was a homemaker and a meber of the Dyer Church of Christ.
Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Ernest Jones; three daughters: Glenda Kay Mitchell, Carol Spencer, and Carolyn Spencer; a son: Gene Jones; five sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by three daughters: Joyce A. Wright; Betty Krajewski; and Linda S. Windham and her husband: Tom; three sons: Kenny Jones and his wife: Vickie, Gerald Jones and his wife: Cindy, and Rober Jones; 19 precious grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many good friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. Burial was held at Gracelawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Chad Wyninger, Travis Boyd, Kenny Jones, Wayne Beadles, and Kenny Schenk.
Honorary pallbearers were: Bobby and Sarah Winfrey, A.C. Champion, Montie and Bonnie Ray, Buddy Irvin, and the Management and staff of Alma Health and Rehab.
