July 29, 1906 - May 1, 1967
William Hearst Davis, 60, Rt. 1, died in a Junction City nursing home Monday morning. Born July 29, 1906, in Little Rock, he was a member of the First Land Mark Baptist Church. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Winnie Denham, El Dorado and one nephew, Edwin Terry Burke, also of El Dorado. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Pratt Chapel with the Rev. Tom E. Bray officiating. Burial will follow in the old Parkers Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. (El Dorado Daily News - May 2, 1967)
