Asa Bryion, 78, of Calion died Sunday night in a local hospital. Mr. Davis was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his widow Mrs. Thelma Davis of Calion; a daughter, Helen Marie Massey, Marietta, Ga.; a son, Victor Leon Davis, Calion; two sisters, Mrs. Octa Fitzgerald, Bernice, La. and Mrs. Ina Parker, Calion; and one grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Calion with the Rev. M. R. Rainbolt and the Rev. Johnny Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery under direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Oneal Davis, James Parker, Wallace Davis, Monroe Clawson, Dan Lee Davis and Frank Fitzgerald.
