*Obituary

Scotty Craig Stewart of Tuckerman, Arkansas was born on October 9, 1981 to Gary Linden Stewart and Cynthia Gail Bright Stewart at a whopping 9lbs and 2ozs, which is a lot more than it sounds for a 4 feet, 11 and ¾ inch woman. He is preceded in death by his father Gary Stewart, his Papaw John Bright, Grandparents Hoyt and Maxine Stewart (Grandma and Grandpa).

He is survived by his mother Cindy Stewart, Brother Chris Stewart, sister Brindy Stewart-Richardson, and several nieces and nephews as follows: Dakota Stewart (whom he called Bubba), Gracie Stewart (Sissy), Jaden Richardson (Poo Pants #1), Jace Richardson (Poo Pants #2), Lynnix Richardson (Princess Poo Pants), and Levi Richardson (he lost count after that). He was known as fun Uncle Scotty to many other adopted nieces and nephews.

He was a lover of Dr. Pepper, Jelly Bellys, guns and ammo, Indian Motorcycles, and all things Super Man. He was a man of many talents. He crafted his own speeding bullets, thought he was more powerful than Hulk Hogan, and able to clear a whole room in a single fart. He was known for wet willies, annoying sounds, greased doorknobs, silly string, and raving about politics. He spent 14 years as a correctional officer with the Arkansas Department of Corrections assigned to the McPherson Unit. He was accepted to Arkansas Highway Patrol in 2019 where he worked until he received his diagnosis.

In 2014, he found his second family, his beloved motorcycle club called the Lawdogs, composed of members of law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, and military personnel from across the country. But most importantly, Scotty was a Christian. He met his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at a youth church camp in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 13. He kept his faith in Christ his entire life. Despite his diagnosis, he had peace knowing that God would take care of him and heal his body whether in this life or the next. And on November 18th at 1:49am, he received his ultimate healing.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Union Valley Baptist Church, with burial in Weir Cemetery.
