When Ocel Holland Stewart was born on August 6, 1909, in Milan, Tennessee, his father, James, was 41 and his mother, Margaret, was 38. He married Minnie Frances Gay Stewart on September 21, 1936. They had one child during their marriage. He died on June 19, 1984, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 74, and was buried there.

When Minnie Frances Gay Stewart was born on October 6, 1913, in Searcy, Arkansas, her father, Robert, was 34, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 30. She married Ocel Holland Stewart on September 21, 1936. They had one child during their marriage. She died on October 21, 2004, in her hometown at the age of 91, and was buried there.
