Eula Mae Courtney, 61, Route 1, West Fork, died at a Prairie Grove Hospital Wednesday. She was the former Eula May Miller, born in Washington County January 26, 1896, the daughter of Henry and Alice Hannah Miller. She married Claude L. Courtney January 11, 1931.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Von L. Stevenson, Kaleen, Texas; one son, Tillman Courtney, Artisia. N.M.; five brothers, Walter Miller, Fayetteville, Oscar Miller, Winslow, Jeff Miller, West Fork, Claude Miller, Rogers, and Lester Miller who is stationed with the Army at Puerto Rico; three sisters, Mrs. Clint Karnes, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Ernist W. Winn, Westville, Okla., and Mrs. Walter Baker, Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be conducted this afternoon at 2 p.m. at Zinnamon Church near West Fork by the Rev. Fred Huckleberry pastor of Christ Church. Burial was to be in the Zinnamon cemetery with arrangements in charge of Watson's Mortuary.
