Mr. Mark Thurman, 47, of Lacey, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at his
daughter's residence in the Milo Community outside of Hamburg. Mr.
Thurman was a native of Crossett and a resident of Lacey for most of
his life. He was a Journeyman, a Christian and he loved to hunt and fish.
He is preceded in death by a nephew, Jimmy Lee Raley.
He is survived by three daughters, Tiffany Thurman, Tasha Thurman
and Shayna Kelley and husband, Mark, all of Hamburg; his father, Jimmy
Thurman of Fountain Hill; his mother, Bonnie Johnson Thurman of
Crossett; a brother, Ricky Thurman of Heber Springs; two sisters, Carla
Thurman of Monticello and Lanette Thurman of Crossett; five
grandchildren, Tasia & Braleigh Chote, Ethan Thurman, Maria Thurman
and Dylan Ivey and a niece, Toyette Thurman.
Graveside services and burial are 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 20,
2011 in the Lacey Cemetery with Rev. Carlton White officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Mark Kelley, Jess Chote, Philip Ivey, John A.
Hardie, Joey McLeod and Ethan Thurman.
