Hamburg, Arkansas
Mr. Johnny Allen (Bebop) Thurman, 52, of Hamburg, died Friday, July
11, 2008 at his residence in the Promise Land Community outside of
Hamburg. Mr. Thurman was a native and life long resident of Hamburg.
He was a tree surgeon and a member of the Promise Land Missionary
Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by a son, John Adrian Hardie of Dermott; a daughter,
Jessica Elaine Hardie of Hamburg; his parents, Adrian & Willene
Bozeman Thurman of Hamburg; a brother, Danny Thurman of Petal, MS;
a sister, Kay Montgomery of Conway; his best friend, Cody Baker of
Hamburg; a special cousin, Mark Thurman of Fountain Hill and five
nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service and burial are 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 15,
2008 in the Lacey Cemetery with Rev. Philip Payne officiating.
Pallbearers are Cody Baker, Jeff Ross, Mark Thurman, Bobby Baker
and Harold Prescott.
