Columbus Scott, 746 Secession Ave., a long time resident of Camden died Thursday afternoon from a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sellar Scott; six daughters, Mrs. Alneada Hill, Birmingham, Ala.; Mrs. Mildred Hermes, Milwaukee, Wis.; Mrs. Annie Thomas, Miss Olivia Scott, Caruthersville, Mo.; Mrs. Dorothy Hawkins, Camden; Mrs. Mary Beard, Cleveland, Ohio and thirteen grandchildren. He was a member of the Greater St. Paul Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, and will be announced by Williams Funeral Home. (Camden News - April 21, 1967)
