Noma Lea Hunter, 88, of Mulberry passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at her home.
She was born June 14, 1932, in Lone Elm to Roy and Lula (Bourland) Lancaster.

She was a lifelong member of Mount Zion Regular Baptist Church in Pleasant View and a former employee of Dixie Cup Manufacturing.
Noma Lea was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved fishing, cooking and spending time with her family, community, neighbors and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Farl "Bood" Hunter; her parents; a sister, Cecil Francis; and two brothers, Floyd and Carroll Lancaster.

Survivors include two sons, Preston Hunter of Skiatook, Okla., and John Hunter and wife Becky of Mulberry; three grandchildren, Brandi Howell and husband Chris, Travis Hunter and wife Lindsey and Chlise Hobbs and husband Adam; and five great-grandchildren, Hunter Howell, Slayden Howell, Lilian Hobbs, Havyn Hobbs and Eli Hobbs.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at New Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Alma.
The family will visit with friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Ocker Funeral Home, 917 U.S. 64 E., Alma.
Pallbearers will be Galen Hunter, Jerry Wayne Hunter, Justin Hunter, Travis Hunter, Chris Howell and Adam Hobbs.
