Floyd "Big" Hunter, 84, of Van Buren died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, in a local hospital. He was a retired mill room worker for Ward Furniture Co. in Fort Smith; he also worked for Kay Chair Co. in Van Buren. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; one daughter, Regita Moses of Van Buren; three sons, Ricky Hunter of Mountainburg, Dennis Hunter of Mansfield and
Lanny Hunter of Alma; twin brother, Loyd Hunter of Houston; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bill Hunter, Don Hunter, Earl Sindle, Kenneth Beckham, George Corbell and Jim Dodson.
