GRAVETTE - William Deric Lewis, 86, of Gravette, Ark., went to his heavenly home on Feb. 8, 2013, at Circle of Life in Bentonville, Ark. Deric was born Jan. 28, 1927, in Mullinville, Kan., to Charles William and Edith Alma (Noel) Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, William Loyd Lewis.

Deric served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1947 and was stationed in Korea.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha Frances (Turner) Lewis; four daughters, two sons, one brother. Deric had 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and his favorite horse, Bucky.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at First Christian Church of Bentonville with burial at Barron Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of Life, 900 Verdant Lane, Bentonville, AR 72712.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stackdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers. Words of comfort may be expressed or memories shared at stockdalefuneral.com.

GRAVETTE — Martha (Fritz) Frances Lewis, 88, of Gravette, Ark., went to her heavenly home on Feb. 19, 2019. Martha was born July 24, 1930, in Vaughn, Ark, to Ruben Lloyd and Thelma (Harral) Turner.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William Deric Lewis, her parents, son William Loyd Lewis and brother Harral Turner.

She is survived by four daughters, Thelma (Steve) Duty of Geronimo, Okla., Linda (Virgil) Jones of Gravette, Bethy (Jerry) Slyter of Centerton, Toni (Tim) Hinrichs of Rogers; two sons, James (Lois) Lewis of Gentry, Allen Lewis of Bella Vista; and one brother, John Turner of Southwest City, Mo. Martha had 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Martha was known for her big smile, big laugh, and the joy she had when surrounded by family and friends. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Gentry and the NWA Cavalcade.

Visitation will be at Bella Vista Funeral Home, Thursday, Feb. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. Followed by a celebration of Martha's life at 2. p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 at First Christian Church, 102 W Second St. in Gentry, Ark. Burial will be at Barron Cemetery in Bentonville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
