MRS. RUBYE J. LEWIS
Mrs. Rubye Jane Lewis, 71, 321 Siloam Place, Siloam Springs, died, May 23, at her home. Born Nov. 23, 1902 in Harrison, she was the daughter of William Thomas and Eliza Phillips Ruble, a member of United Methodist Church, and formerly operated a shoe store in Siloam Springs.
Survivors include her husband, Garland Lewis of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Hester Hackbargh and Mrs. Mary Calhoon, Tulsa, Okla.; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Pyeatte Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Jack Steele officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Pyeatte.
