George David Cross, 92 of Camden, AR passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015. He was born March 13, 1922 to George Jehu and Eula Robertson Cross in Camden, AR. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Mae Cross; daughter, Kathy Knight; and twelve brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son, John David Cross and wife, Valerie of Como, MS; daughter Linda Reynolds and husband, Jerry of Camden, AR; sister, Virginia Jordan of Camden, AR; grandchildren, Larry Knight and wife, Vicki of Camden, AR, Lisa Griffis and husband, Gary of Camden, AR, Sherrie Lowe of Olive Branch, MS, Shaun Cross and wife, Destin of Como, MS; step grandchildren, Lance Reynolds and wife, Amy and Jana Reynolds all of Harrell, AR; great grandchildren, Kathryn Knight, Madeline Knight, Olivia Knight, Isabella Knight, Julia Knight, Kayla Belt and fiancé, Jacob Johnson, Megan Knight, Jerod Griffis, Hanah Griffis, Nicholas Lowe, Brandon Lowe, Madison Cross and Savannah Cross; step great grandchildren, Jackson Reynolds, Cody Reynolds and Kayla Reynolds; great great grandchild, Zane Johnson.
Funeral services for Mr. Cross will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 23, 2015 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Friday before the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
