Patricia Lynn Hester Cross, 88 of Camden, AR passed away Tuesday, January 01, 2019 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, AR. She was born June 26, 1930 in Lawton, OK. She was a retired OB Nurse with a 30 plus year career. She delivered generations of babies in Ouachita County and she believed every birth was a miracle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred E. and Bertha Lynn Hester; husband, Bill Cross; son-in-law, John D. Daniel; and sisters, Betty Ellen Hester and Carolyn Ann Efird.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Kay Wheelington and husband, Dale of Smackover, AR and Patricia Daniel of Zephyrhills, FL; brother, Fred E. Hester of Sherwood, AR; grandsons, Roger Wheelington of Smackover, AR, Ryan Scott Wheelington and wife, Michelle of Magnolia, AR and Jon Nathan Daniel and fiancée, Shannon E. Parker; granddaughter, JonAnne Jameson and husband, Ashley of Wesley Chapel, FL; great grandchildren, Dawson Wheelington, Brooklyn Wheelington, Hope Noelle Wheelington, S. J. Parker and Brinley Anne Daniel; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Friday, January 04, 2019 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Richard Foster will officiate the services. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM Friday before the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
